Page 1 of 3 2009 was a difficult year for many people who lost their jobs, homes, and savings, and grew fearful and lost hope in their country’s ability to restore itself. Two years ago I caught the flu and lost much of my memory’s ability to walk, talk and function. In the nursing home, I had a nurses aide pushing my wheelchair, a therapist teaching me how to use my body and mind with physical exercises, and worked three times a week with a speech therapist who kept telling me how good I was doing. The one part of my brain that improved was my intuitive skills – like a seed planted in the soil, my psychic ability increased ten fold. The hope they gave me was the greatest gift of all. I didn’t know what I didn’t know, only what others told me - that I would get well. My intuition filled me with thoughts that the United States would get well. All that was needed was a new type of thinking, to get out of the rut of the despair.
